Sorry to bother, but my two ponies (Rarity and Pinkie Pie) came with little accessories (Such as a Crystal saddle and brush, a piece of cake and a Ice Cream Float), what can I do with these extra little pieces? What do you do with all of your pieces? Thanks for the answers, your very helpful.
Alrighty then; Challenge accepted. How about a How-To? I'm just wanting to know about the whole process, what materials you need, you know, the about the whole operation of the making of the toys. Hope it doesn't bother you to write the whole process out... I'm thinking about making some myself, and I'm not sure where to start.
Writing out the whole process in a comment would be way too much XD I'm going to make a tutorial but it will take awhile since I'm on vacation at the moment.
Basically you get a toy, cut off the hair, sculpt on mane and tail with polymer clay, harden the clay (instructions should be on the package), paint it with acrylic paint and then gloss it. I can't give much advice on sculpting because each mane style is sculpted differently. You can look up some tutorial on sculpting online. The tutorials don't necessary have to be on sculpting manes, any advice helps.
Rarity is the easiest. Her mane and tail are simple and its only one color. You could buy a Rarity toy, cut off the hair and add the clay. You won't have to paint on the eyes or cutie mark. She's great as a first custom
